About the project
Blue Carrot is assembling an international team of experienced Instructional Designers to help build a Healthcare learning program for a major US-based client (NGO). This is a rare opportunity to work on a purpose-driven global project where quality, clarity, and precision truly make an impact. You’ll work with provided content outlines and preliminary design drafts to create detailed instructional design documents and storyboards. You will not be responsible for building e-learning in Storyline or creating videos — your focus is on design, structure, and instructional writing.
Requirements
Key responsibilities:
Review and refine e-learning design outlines provided by the client.
Create alpha-stage design deliverables in Word format: - Storyboards for e-learning modules and videos - Facilitator and participant guides - vILT session outlines and slide scripts - Assessments and knowledge checks
Ensure all materials align with adult learning principles and performance-based design.
Collaborate with IDs, media developers, and project managers.
Maintain strict version control and compliance documentation standards.
Qualifications:
3+ years of instructional design experience in e-learning or blended programs.
Experience with regulated or technical content (e.g. healthcare, pharma, engineering, or manufacturing).
Expertise in developing detailed Word-based storyboards and design documents.
Strong written English and attention to instructional and editorial detail.
Comfortable working in an agile, distributed production environment.
Bonus if you have:
Familiarity with Articulate Storyline / Rise, and video scripting.
Familiarity with Articulate Storyline, Rise, or similar tools.
Why you’ll love working with us:
A meaningful project that improves real-world performance in the healthcare field.
A respectful, supportive international team culture
The chance to practice true instructional design — not just content formatting.
Competitive rate and flexible working hours.
Opportunity for long-term collaboration on future global programs.
We encourage everyone interested in contract work to apply.
Even if this specific role isn’t the right match, your profile may be considered for future instructional design projects across various industries and clients
