The DeForest Area School District serves more than 4,000 students. Harvest Intermediate School supports students in grades 4–6 and serves approximately 965 students with a staff of about 125. The school is led by a Principal who is supported by two Associate Principals and a well-rounded student services team. The administrator hired will make strong connections with students, staff and the community; creating systems and structures to ensure all students are academically and socially successful in school and beyond.
DASD staff collaborate with students, families, and the community to create a supportive and engaging educational experience for all learners. Our schools provide a wide range of extracurricular activities and community service initiatives that enhance student learning. With strong support from the Board of Education, families, and local partners, DASD is dedicated to preparing students to be college, career, and life ready in an ever-changing world.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Highly competitive salary and benefits package; commensurate with education, skills, experience. Twelve-month, two-year contract position beginning 7/1/2026.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) years of successful School Administrative Experience preferred. Master's Degree in Educational Administration Possess and maintain a current Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license for Principal (51). Proven ability to foster trusting relationships with students, staff, families, and community stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a learning environment that supports the success of all students and staff while fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages intellectual, emotional, and social growth. Understanding of the systems that lead to equitable outcomes for all students and creating an inclusive environment for all students. Training, experience, and expertise in working collaboratively within an instructional team; implementing standards-based instruction and assessment; providing culturally relevant and differentiated instruction; and utilizing technology skills to enhance both professional learning and classroom instruction.
